The Surrounding Clearing System is designed to efficiently handle Outward and Inward Clearing transactions, both submission and return, by connecting directly with the Core Banking System (CBS) via H2H and web services to the Clearing Participant System (SPK). The CIA Middleware Application automates the interface process for outward and inward clearing submissions, eliminating the need for manual intervention. For outward clearing, the system downloads Cemtext files, interfaces with SPKBI, and automatically handles acknowledgments once the DKE is sent online to SSK BI.
For inward clearing transactions, the CIA system is designed to automatically retrieve data from SPKBI, removing the need for manual downloads. The system also forms and sends DPI (Data Inward Submission) to Core BNI (Icons) for auto-debit processing. The results of the auto-debit are automatically captured by the CIA system for reporting and return processing. Additionally, the CIA system provides facilities for manual data input for both clearing submissions and returns when necessary.
